We have several go-to salad combos that are very easy, provided you remember what they are, and have the ingredients. Hence the “Bangladesh” salad – green and red, like the flag of Bangladesh, and of course it’s low-FODMAP too.

Ingredients
- 1/2 medium iceberg lettuce or whatever greens you have in the fridge
- 1 punnet cherry tomatoes we like sweet varieties
- 1 small cucumber

Instructions
- Tear up the lettuce, toss into a colander, then rinse.
- Chop the tomatoes in half, cube the cucumber, and pop them both into a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and mix.
- Shake the lettuce dry and transfer into a bowl.
- Tip the tomatoes and cucumber into the bowl with the lettuce, squeeze over half a lemon, then mix and serve.
